Universal Studios Florida Park Guide

So you’re looking for info about Universal Studios? That’s great! It’s such a fun place to visit. Before we hop into that information, I do want to give you a bit of info about who we are at Adventure IRL Travel Agency. We are a local, family run agency with a mission of helping everyone of our clients find their Real Life Adventures. When you book with us, you save time with our expert advice, personalized services, and help with ALL aspects of your trip. Because using a Travel Agent is so critical with a Universal Trip, we have chosen to not charge our normal planning fee with clients hoping to take their families which means you’ll pay us the same price as if you booked directly with Universal. For that reason, we do not see a single penny for the trip until it has been booked and our clients have successfully traveled. We love providing this service for our clients, because it makes some amazing memories! This being said, we also consider this to be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. We do ask that you be respectful of the effort put into planning this trip. If something is not quite right, please give us the opportunity to fix it. Should you choose to book the trip we have quoted, we would love the opportunity to be paid for our efforts by making that booking for you. With that being said, let’s dive in to the fun stuff!

Universal Studios in Florida is a fantastic place to visit full of fun and adventure. As of the posting date (currently March 27, 2025) there are three theme parks, one water park, and City Walk all at Universal Studios. This guide should help you to determine which parks you would like to visit, and how many park days are needed. The three main parks are Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, and EPIC Universe, and the water park is Volcano Bay.

Types of Tickets

First and foremost, understanding the types of tickets sold at Universal Studios is crucial to having the best experience. As with most theme parks, you do need a different for each park. You can choose to visit one park per day, or a multi park ticket to visit multiple parks in a day. For guests specifically visiting for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you must get a park-to-park ticket in order to ride the Hogwarts Express. If you’re looking for more information on the Wizarding World, click here.

The Universal Express Pass program at Universal Studios Florida allows guests to skip the regular standby lines for participating rides and attractions, significantly reducing wait times and maximizing their park experience. There are two main options: Universal Express, which grants one-time express access per ride, and Universal Express Unlimited, which offers unlimited express access throughout the day. This add-on is available for both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, making it an excellent choice for visitors wanting to experience more attractions in less time. Purchasing an Express Pass is highly recommended for those visiting during peak seasons, as it ensures more time enjoying rides and less time waiting in long lines, making for a stress-free and more enjoyable park experience. The price of Express passes varies, but generally costs from $90-$250 per person per day in addition to the ticketed admission to the park.
