Royal Caribbean — Non-Refundable Fare & Change Fee Policy

Booking under a Non-Refundable Deposit fare means the deposit is never refunded, regardless of when you cancel.
If you need to change your cruise date or ship (instead of cancel), there is a $100 per guest change fee — as long as the change is requested before final payment is due. Royal Caribbean Blog+1
After the final payment deadline: changes to sail date or ship are not permitted; at that point, any attempt to modify would be treated as a cancellation (subject to cancellation penalties). Royal Caribbean+1
If you pick new sail dates: you’ll also need to pay any difference in fare (if the new cruise costs more). Cruise Critic Community+1

In short: With a non-refundable fare — cancel, and you lose the deposit. Want to shift your sailing dates or ship before final payment? You can, but expect to pay $100 per person + any fare difference. Once final payment is made — you’re locked in; no changes allowed, just full-fare cancel-penalties.

For international travel, excluding cruises that begin at and return to the same U.S. port, U.S. CITIZENS MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT.
For cruises that begin at and return to the same U.S. port, U.S. CITIZENS must have a VALID PASSPORT or original certified birth certificate w/raised seal and photo ID. NON-U.S. CITIZENS and RESIDENT ALIENS should contact their respective embassies and U.S. Immigration for applicable regulations.
